To provide a cleaner which can remove dust on a surface to be cleaned using smaller power and which can clean the surface with good controllability without polluting ambient air during a cleaning operation.

A cleaner 1 generates airflow using an airflow generating part 16, and blows the airflow from an airflow outlet 42 to a surface to be cleaned at a predetermined angle and in a predetermined direction. Thereby dust on the surface to be cleaned is blown in the predetermined direction, is forced into an inlet passage 22 from an airflow inlet 44, and is collected by a collecting filter 25 provided in a part of the passage 22. The airflow used to move the dust is returned into the airflow generating part 16 by a recirculating passage 28 and is not expelled. Since each component element is mounted in the internal space of one cleaner main body, controllability is good during a cleaning operation.
