Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preheat or heat a supply air flow to a high temperature without changing physical properties, such as oxygen concentration, of the supply air flow substantially, by providing a flow dividing area wherein a heated supply air flow obtained by raising the temperature of a low-temperature supply air flow is divided into first and second divided supply air flows and a combustion area wherein a combustion reaction of a combustible substance is brought about. SOLUTION: Outdoor air or air for combustion supplied to a first supply-exhaust passage L1 is preheated in a first heat exchange device 11, passes through a first intermediate passage L3, a first combustion area 13 and a third intermediate passage L5 and is supplied to a flow dividing area 15 as a preheated air flow H of which the temperature is raised to a prescribed one. A first preheated air flow H1 is supplied to a second combustion area 14 through a fourth intermediate passage L6. Besides, low-temperature air for combustion introduced from a supply air supply passage CA passes the passage of the first heat exchanger device 11 via the first supply-exhaust passage L1, comes into heat transfer contact with a heat transfer surface of a cell wall and is heated by the heat exchange with the cell wall. According to this constitution, the supply air flow can be preheated or heated to a high temperature without changing physical properties or others, such as oxygen concentration, of the supply air flow.
