To provide a low pressure air mixing/distributing system for an aircraft with a reduced size capable of securing high comfort for passengers and crew.
An airflow mixing apparatus is equipped with a means 5 for mixing an airflow from at least an inlet duct 3a for hot airflow from an aircraft cabin for controlling air inside the cabin in a tank 2 so that airflow at an outlet duct 4 is homogeneous, and an airflow from at least an inlet duct 3b for cold airflow taken in from outside the aircraft and adjusted in pressure and temperature, so that upward swirling movement of a fluid is generated, and amplifying the mixing. The means 5 takes the shape of at least one inlet duct that is co-linear with the central line of the tank 2 and is arranged on a lower part of the tank 2.
