PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airfoil for a turbine engine.SOLUTION: The airfoil comprises: a perimeter wall; a radially extending rib located within the interior at a distance from the leading edge to define a leading edge chamber; at least one impingement opening in the rib defining a flow path; and at least one flow splitter having a first arm extending between the pressure side and the suction side at the leading edge and aligned with the flow path.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
