To secure airtightness by comparatively weak force by freely openably and closably connect a lid capable of closing the opening of a casing main body to one side of the casing main body, projectingly providing an airtight rib surrounding the periphery of the opening part of the container main body and arranging a hermetically sealing film the airtight rib is closely stuck to on the inner face of the lid.

At the time of applying to the compact casing housing cosmetic, the lid 11 is freely openably/closably pivoted by a hinge to one side of the casing main body. Then, the airtight rib 14 is erected surrounding the periphery of the opening of a casing part 13 of the casing and the hermetically sealed film 15 is arranged on the inner face of the lid 11 in the state of matching with this rib 14. Then, the rib 14 is closely stuck to the film 15 at the time of closing the lid to obtain high airtightness. It is desirable that the film 15 is constituted of rubber, elastomer and a non-stretched or half-stretched resin and provided with the thickness degree of 0.05 to 0.15 mm. When the rib 14 is closely stuck, the film 15 deforms by comparatively weak force and is satisfactory in shape adhesive strength to obtain high airtightness.
