To provide an airway management bed for airway and an airway management method by which uses no big apparatus and allows a sleeper to ensure the right respiratory tract even if the sleeper falls in snore and apneic pause, thereby to prevent the sleeper from snore and apneic pause.
The airway management bed, which detects a body movement signal, when the change rate from the amplitude A of a respiratory signal just before it detects to the amplitude B of a respiratory signal just after it does |(A-B)/B| is a threshold C or more, judges a change in amplitude of respiratory signal between before and after the body movement and thus judges that a sleeper takes a postural change from the look-up to the lie-down or vice versa, thereby to understand the sleeping posture. Further the bed, when it detects a snore signal from the sleeper, lifts down the headrest 20 of the bed 1 or the like, allowing the sleeper for airway management.
