PURPOSE: To construct a security system by effectively combining with any existent alarm such as a fire alarm or gas leak alarm, for example.
CONSTITUTION: Near an existent fire alarm 2a or gas leak alarm 3a which are not provided with a radio transmitter, an alarm detector 50 is provided to detect these alarms are operated. When these alarms are operated, a radio signal is generated from the alarm detector 50, and this signal is received by a receiver 20 and transmitted through a telephone line 30 to an information center 40. When the alarms 2a and 3a are buzzer type alarms, it detects that these alarms are operated by detecting the buzzer tones or vibrations or when those alarms are due to the ON/OFF of lamps, it detects by using a photosensor.
