Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent a seizure trouble by a method wherein an alarm lamp or buzzer is constituted to be actuated if an engine fails to start with a starter key type power supply switch being turned ON.

CONSTITUTION: With a starter key switch 9 turned by one step, a power supply switch is turned ON and if the switch 9 is further turned by one more step, a starter motor is turned to start a Diesel engine E. With the power supply switch turned ON, a fuel feed pump is started to start supplying fuel. In such a constitution, if the engine fails to start with the power supply switch turned ON, i.e. when a lubricant pressure sensor (not shown in the drawing) to detect the output of discharge from an engine-driven lubricant pump is turned OFF due to the lubricant pressure delined down to specified value, an oil lamp 15 and an alarming buzzer 17 may be actuated respectively to light and sound.
