Title:
ALARM SOUND CONTROL DEVICE OF IGNITION KEY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3679157
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an alarm from sounding under an energized state of an audio device while an ignition key is being inserted by halting the generation of an alarm sound from an alarm sound generation means by a control device based on detection signals transmitted from an ignition switch detection means and a door opening detection means.
SOLUTION: Whether or not an ignition key is inserted into a hole in an ignition key cylinder which constitutes an ignition switch 24 is detected with an insertion detection switch 14. In the case when the key is inserted thereinto, an ON signal is output an ECU 12. The switch 224 detects whether or not it is in an ON state under an energizing operation of the ignition key. If it is in an OFF state, an OFF signal is output to the ECU 12. The ECU 12 determines whether or not a power switch of an audio unit 18 is in an ON state. When it is in an OFF state, a door opening detection switch 16 detects whether or not a driver seat-sided door is open. When the door is opened, an alarm generation means 26 generates an alarm sound, thereby providing information to an operating car that the ignition key is still left inserted.
