A porous carrier is carried with a dendrimer having an amino group as a functional group. The porous carrier can be made to activated carbon and the dendrimer can be made to polyamideamine dendrimer. The aldehydes removal material can be prepared by mixing powdery activated carbon with methanol dissolved with polyamideamine dendrimer and thereafter volatilizing methanol.
