Abstract:
To provide an algae culture device that improves culture efficiency and increases a production yield while preventing a surface of a culture solution from being strongly struck by stirring blades, and cell membranes of the algae to be cultured from being broken and damaged.
In the algae culture device, the culture solution in a culture tank 1 is circulated while the culture solution is stirred and mixed by the stirring blades 5 radially protruded from a rotating shaft 4. The penetration angle α to the level of the culture solution of at least one third or more of the end side part Pb of the part Pa which penetrates to the culture solution of the stirring blades 5 is 60-90°.
