Abstract:
To provide a new alicyclic isocyanate compound having a trans structure, and expected to have utility as a material for a polyurethane resin and a polyurea resin free from yellowing and having high hardness and high modulus because of having a primary isocyanate group having high reactivity, and to provide a method for producing the compound.
The alicyclic isocyanate compound having the trans structure is represented by general formula (1) (wherein, n1 is 0 or 1). The method for producing the alicyclic isocyanate compound includes reacting a diamine compound having the trans structure with an organic carbonate compound in the presence of an amine compound.
