Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aligning auxiliary tool, a printing unit, and an aligning method for a plate cylinder, that minimize print starting loss generated when performing follow-up printing.SOLUTION: Aligning auxiliary tools 2 and 4 comprise: a first aligning part 10 which is mounted on an upstream side of a plate cylinder (for example, a plate cylinder 142) in a conveyance direction of a band-like web; and a second alignment part 30 which is mounted on a downstream side of the plate cylinder. A first register mark is printed in advance on the band-like web, and a mark adding part (for example, a mark adding part 143) for adding a second register mark on the band-like web, is disposed on an outer peripheral surface of the plate cylinder. A target position (displayed as a reference symbol S) of the mark adding part is displayed on the outer peripheral surface of the plate cylinder, so as to substantially align a position of the first register mark and a position of the second register mark added to the band-like web, by using the first aligning part 10 and the second alignment part 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
