To provide a pin extracting tool having no necessity of pressing a support cylinder to a steel plate by large force.
The inside of a housing 1 of a pin extracting tool is provided with a rotary body driven by a motor M, a chuck unit 5 for gripping an aligning jig pin 7 and a screw cylinder 6 being almost coaxially connected to the chuck unit 5 and longitudinally moving in the housing 1 by forming a screw surface 60 threadedly engaging with the rotary body. The chuck unit 5 retractably projects from the housing 1 by being energized by a spring in an initial state of not gripping the jig pin 7. The screw surface 60 of the screw cylinder 6 always threadedly engages with a nut piece 40 connected to the rotary body, and the nut piece 40 is arranged so as to be capable of retreating by at least a retracting quantity of the chuck unit 5 together with the screw cylinder 6.
