Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform smooth and rapid alignment on the outer cylinder of a cylinder without troublesome operation.
SOLUTION: A valve case 8A is provided with a valve holding member 19A to hold a damping valve on the elongation side or a damping valve 14 on the pressure side in a manner to extend through the central part of the valve case. The inner surface of a bottom 9A to close the lower end of an outer cylinder 1 and the shaft end face of the valve holding member 19A consist of a member to which a cylinder 4 is assembled in the outer cylinder 1 such that the inner surface and the shaft end face are fitted in by at least a recessed taper surface 9a and a protrusion taper surface 19a of a central part.
