Abstract:
To provide a positioning device capable of performing positioning related to two members: and to provide a baffle plate unit.SOLUTION: A positioning device includes a first member (such as a metal belt 10) which has a flat surface part and where the position of the flat surface part can be changed; a second member (such as a baffle plate 32) having a flat surface part almost parallel to the flat surface part of the first member; a drive mechanism (such as a thickness-direction drive mechanism 36) moving the second member to the same direction as a direction where the position of the first member is changed; and a movement control means driving the drive mechanism and capable of moving the second member at a speed higher than a speed at which the flat surface part of the first member is changed. The movement control means is structured as follows: the drive mechanism is intermittently driven as the position of the flat surface part of the first member is changed; and thereby the second member is moved so that the flat surface part of the first member and the flat surface part of the second member are placed on almost the same flat surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
