To provide a pallet which enables the alignment and shake-in of a torsion coil spring to be accurately performed.
The shake-in pallet 8 is the one for aligning a torsion coil spring 3 having spring pieces 31 and 32 which are respectively projected from both ends of a coil part 30 and whose forward ends are flexed in the axial direction of the coil part and in a mutually opposed direction. The pallet is provided, in its surface, with a circular shake-in hole 80 in which the coil part 30 is stored, a groove 81 which is continuous with the shake-in hole 80 at its one end and whose depth is adjusted to the length of the shorter spring piece 31 of both the spring pieces 31 and 32, and a small hole 82 which is provided at a distance adjusted to the other spring piece 32 from the shake-in hole 80 and into which the flexed forward end of the other spring piece 32 is put.
