Abstract:
To provide an aliphatic-aromatic copolyester fiber having improved processability, dispersibility in environment and mechanical properties.
The fiber is a substantially linear, random, semicrystalline aliphatic-aromatic copolymer is composed of a diol component and an acid component and has an inherent viscosity of 0.5-1.8 dL/g as measured at a temperature of 25°C for a 0.5 g sample in 100 mL of 60/40 (parts by weight) solution of phenol/tetrachloroethane.
