Abstract:
A visually clear and substantially colorless antimicrobial-containing solution comprising at least 20 weight percent of an alkoxylated monoalkanolamide surfactant represented by formula II: wherein: R1 represents a hydrocarbon radical; R2 represents a hydrogen atom, -CH3 or -CH2-H3 radical; and x independently represents at least 1. The antimicrobial-containing solutions are suitable for readily mixing into cosmetics and disinfectant cleaning products.
