To provide an in-wheel motor installation all-wheel-drive vehicle having a power intermittent means capable of transmitting power from the motor to a wheel by driving the motor only when motor assist is required.

The all-wheel-drive vehicle has the power intermittent means where an in-wheel motor 3 is supported in a spring lower part of the vehicle by a buffer mechanism 10 having a viscous element and an elastic element, the motor 3 and the wheel 2 are interconnected through a power transmission mechanism 20 where a motor-side plate 21 and a plate 22 for power transmission are interconnected through a plurality of cross guides 23, a coupling member 24 for power transmission is mounted to the plate 22 for power transmission, and the coupling member 24 is sandwiched between a brake disk 8 and a roller that is disposed in a caliper 9A with a roller and is rotatable in the circumferential direction of the brake disk 8. The in-wheel motor 3 is driven only when the motor assist is required.
