PURPOSE: To inform the result quickly by providing a means storing the result of communication, a means storing a destination to which the result of communication is informed, and a control means informing the result of communication to the notice destination after the end of transmission or reception to the communication equipment.

CONSTITUTION: When a reception operation is finished, an identification signal detection section 9 detects the presence of a notice request of the transmission result to detect whether or not a telephone number representing the notice destination of the result of communication is sent when a request comes. When the telephone number is sent, it is stored in a telephone number memory 4. After the line interruption, the result of communication is stored in a communication result memory 6 and an automatic dial means 7 makes dialing based on the telephone number registered in the memory 4. Then a voice generating means 8 outputs a voice in response to the result of communication from the memory 6 and the equipment restores to the standby state. On the other hand, when a notice destination is a pocket bell, a character is sent in response to the result of communication in the memory 6 and the equipment restores the standby state. Thus, the result of communication is quickly recognized.
