Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an alloy for brazing having an excellent characteristic by which brazing is easily executed.
CONSTITUTION: This alloy for brazing used in heat exchangers, particularly in radiators is composed of, by weight, 14-31% zinc, 0.1-1.5% iron, 0.001-0.05% phosphorus, 0-0.09% arsenic, the balance copper and incidental impurities. The brazing temperature is specified to 650°C or less.
