Abstract:

To provide a method for producing alloy powder capable of producing functional alloy powder of a hydrogen storage alloy, a magnetic alloy or the like by a simple means at a high yield, and to obtain alloy powder obtained by the production method.

The production method for alloy powder is composed of: a pulverizing treatment stage where metal raw material powder composed of a combination of metals in which mixed enthalpies are made negative is subjected to pulverizing treatment, so as to be crystal grains on a nanolevel by ball milling; and a heating treatment stage where the pulverized matter of the metal raw material powder obtained by the pulverizing treatment is subjected to heating treatment at a temperature of ≥35% of the melting point of the alloy to be produced. The obtained alloy powder can be used as a hydrogen storage alloy, a magnetic material or the like.
