Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alloy-type thermal fuse, that can function under temperatures which are within the range of 95°C-105°C, can satisfy the requirements of environmental preservation, can make the fuse-element diameter fine to substantially approximately to 300 μm&phiv , and can cause it to function accurately by satisfactorily suppressing self-heating.
SOLUTION: In a thermal fuse, which uses an alloy soluble at a low-melting point as a fuse element, the alloy has an alloy composition of 40-46 weight % Sn, 7-12 weight % Bi and with the remainder being In.
