Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:The allyl-type hexafluoroisopropyl ether derivative of formula I and formula II (R1 is H, phenyl or saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon group; R2 is H or saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon group).
EXAMPLE: Cinnamyl-1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoro-2-propyl ether.
USE: An intermediate for easy production of various allyl-type fluorine-containing ethers useful as pharmaceuticals, agricultural chemicals, etc.
PREPARATION: The compound of formula I or II can be produced by reacting an allyl-type unsaturated hydrocarbon derivative of formula III (R3 is OCOR4, OCOOR5, OH, Cl or Br; R4 and R5 are alkyl) with 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoro-2- propanol in the presence of a palladium complex.
