Abstract:
To provide an allylamine-based polymer which is excellent in light resistance and useful for a paper treating agent or the like.
An allylamine-allylsulfonic acid-based copolymer containing structural units derived from monoallylamine or diallyl amine and derived from an allylsulfonic acid compound, and the method for producing the same by copolymerizing each of the monomers in a polar solvent in the presence of a water-soluble azo-based or persulfate-based radical initiator are obtained.
