NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formulas I-IV (X is α- diazoacetoactic acid ester group expressed by formula V).
USE: An photosensitive material exhibiting not only efficient excellent bleaching action by irradiation with light at a wavelength as a short as ≤300nm but also good solubility without sublimableness.
PREPARATION: Pentaerythritol, dipentaerythritol, 1,4-cyclohexanediol or inositol is reacted with diketene in the presence of p-toluenesulfonic acid catalyst in p-dioxan solvent to provide acetoacetic acid ester of the above-mentioned saturated aliphatic polyhydric alcohol as an intermediate, which is then reacted and diazotized with p-toluenesulfonyl azide and triethylamine in acetonitrile solvent to afford the aimed substance.
