Abstract:
Alpha-isocyano-carboxylic acid amides of the formula (I) wherein R1 and R2 are identical or different and each represent hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl or aralkyl; or R1 and R2 together represent alkylene; and R3 is hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl or aralkyl, with the proviso that at least one of R1, R2 and R3 represents alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl or aralkyl, or that, in the case where R1 and R2 represent alkylene, R3 represents alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl or aralkyl, are outstandingly effective for regulating the growth of plants.
