Abstract:

To provide a spherical or tabular γ-alumina for catalyst carriers having a large particle size, and a large specific surface area.

There is provided a spherical or tabular γ-alumina for catalyst carriers, in which the average secondary particle size is 30 nm to 2 μm, the primary particle size is 2.5 nm to 9.0 nm and the specific surface area is 10 m2/g to 150 m2/g.
