Title:
アルミナ分散剤及びアルミナ分散液
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3573628
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stable alumina dispersion excellent in dispersibility without causing flocculation by using an alumina dispersant based on a nitrogen- containing monocarboxylic acid such as nicotinic acid, picolinic acid, proline or glycine, alumina and an aqueous dispersive medium. SOLUTION: An alumina dispersant comprising 50-100% monocarboxylic acid containing at least one nitrogen atom in one molecule, an auxiliary dispersant, an oxycarboxylic acid, an inorganic acid, other organic acid, etc., is added to an aqueous dispersive medium containing about 10-60% alumina to obtain the objective stable alumina dispersion which does not cause thickening and the flocculation and precipitation or gelling of alumina. The nitrogen- containing monocarboxylic acid is preferably added by about 0.5-10 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. alumina. The monocarboxylic acid is preferably an amino acid or a heterocyclic compound in which a carboxylic acid group bonds to a heterocycle containing a nitrogen atom as a hetero atom, in particular nicotinic acid or the like which is readily dissolved in an aqueous solvent and exhibits acidity or neutrality.
