Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminium alloy filler metal which is used when an alloy in JIS 5083 is welded by high heat input welding and by which high joint efficiency is obtained, and to provide a welding method of an aluminium alloy in which the alloy in JIS 5083 and the aluminium alloy filler metal are used and the high heat input welding is suitably performed.SOLUTION: In a welding method of an aluminium alloy,: an aluminium alloy filler metal having an alloy composition comprising 6-7 mass% Mg, 0.5-1.0 mass% Mn, 0.05-0.25 mass% Cr, 0.4 mass% or less Si, 0.4 mass% or less Fe, 0.1 mass% or less Cu, 0.25 mass% or less Zn, 0.05 mass% or less Zr and 0.25 mass% or less Ti and the balance Al with inevitable impurities is used; and heat input in welding is 20-90 kJ/cm.SELECTED DRAWING: None
