To provide an aluminium shoe furnished with an excellent sliding property and durability.
The shoe 76 of a compressor is furnished with a parent material 146 made of a material with aluminium as a main component, hard layers 150, 152 formed on the parent material 146 and an antifriction layer 154 formed on the hard layer 152. The hard layers 150, 152 are the layers of metal of more than 300 Vickers hardness HV. The antifriction layer 154 is a layer of synthetic resin containing a solid lubricant 158. Durability is improved as the parent material 146 is covered with the hard layers 150, 152 harder than the parent material 146, and the sliding property is also improved by making the antifriction layer 154 into the synthetic resin layer containing the solid lubricant 158. It is possible to prevent seizure of the parent material 146 with a piston and a swash plate as only the hard layer 152 is exposed even when the antifriction layer 154 locally disappears. It is possible to increase sticking tendency of the antifriction layer 154 with the parent material 146 by interposing the hard layers 150, 152 between the antifriction layer 154 and the parent material 146.
