Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the aluminum alloy brazing filler metal for producing the aluminum alloy heat exchanger having excellent thermal efficiency and high strength by a brazing method and the process for production of the heat exchanger by using the same.
CONSTITUTION: This aluminum alloy brazing filler metal contains over 7.0wt.% and ≤12.0wt.% Si and over 0. 1wt.% and ≤8.0wt.% Cu, further, contains one or 22 kinds of over 0.002wt.% and 40.3wt.% In, over 0.002wt.% and ≤0.3wt.% Sn and over 0.05wt.% and ≤0.5wt.% Zn and consists of the balance Al and inevitable impurities. Brazing is executed at 570 to 585°C by using the aluminum alloy brazing filler metal at the time of producing the aluminum alloy heat exchanger by brazing.
