Abstract:

To provide an aluminum alloy brazing sheet for an automobile heat exchanger which can cope with further thinning in the future, which has high strength, and which causes no problem in terms of intergranular corrosion after brazing.

An aluminum alloy brazing sheet for an automobile heat exchanger is formed by cladding a sacrificial material on one side of a core material and a brazing filler metal on the other side, wherein the core material includes Cu: 1.4-2.2% (mass%, the same shall apply hereafter), Fe: 0.1-0.4%, total of Mn and Si: <0.2%, with the balance being aluminum and inevitable impurities, and the sacrificial material includes Zn: 3.0-7.0%, Mg: 0.5-2.5%, Si: 0.05-0.5%, with the balance being aluminum and inevitable impurities.
