Abstract:
To provide a dephosphorization method in which P amount in aluminum alloy is reduced to 2 ppm or less.SOLUTION: The problem is solved by increasing the amount of silicon (Si) in the molten aluminum alloy to 13 to 20%, followed by solidification to yield an ingot, and, while melting the ingot on an inclined plate or net installed in the melting furnace, dropping or flowing down the eutectic molten liquid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
