Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an Al alloy for engine parts excellent in wear resistance and damping property.
CONSTITUTION: This Al alloy useful for engine parts consists of 14-20% Si, 3.5-6.5% Cu, 0.3-1.0% Mg, 0.1-1.0% Fe, 0.1-1.0% Mn and the balance Al with inevitable impurities and contains ≥15% area ratio of grains having ≥12μm average grain diameter.
