Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum foil used for a cathode of an electrolytic capacitor with a high capacitance and a high strength.
SOLUTION: The aluminum alloy foil for the cathode of the electrolytic capacitor comprises 0.15-0.25% Si (by wt.% hereinafter)0.35-0.70% Fe, 0.10-0.50% Cu, 0.2-2.0% Mn, and the balance Al with unavoidable impurities, and satisfies Fe/Si of 1.5-3.0. Thereby, the foil for the cathode of the electrolytic capacitor with the high capacitance and the high strength is provided.
