Abstract:
To provide an Al alloy forging that has excellent mechanical properties at normal temperature and prevents the occurrence of recrystallized grains, and a method of producing the same.SOLUTION: An aluminum alloy forging 1 includes Cu: 0.15 mass%-1.0 mass%, Mg: 0.6 mass%-1.3 mass%, Si: 0.60 mass%-1.45 mass%, Mn: 0.03 mass%-1.0 mass%, Fe: 0.2 mass%-0.4 mass%, Cr: 0.03 mass%-0.4 mass%, Ti: 0.012 mass%-0.035 mass%, B: 0.0001 mass%-0.03 mass%, Zn: 0.25 mass% or less, Zr: 0.05 mass% or less, with the balance being Al and unavoidable impurities. When the integrated intensity of a diffraction peak of a (220) plane of a Mg2Si phase in an X-ray diffraction pattern determined by X-ray diffraction measurement of a cross-section of the forging is "Q1" (cps deg) and the integrated intensity of a diffraction peak of a (200) plane of an Al phase is "Q2" (cps deg), the value of Q1/Q2 is 7×10-2 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
