To provide an aluminum alloy and a method for manufacturing the same.

The manufacturing method includes steps of: providing a magnesium master alloy containing a calcium-based compound, and aluminum; forming a molten metal in which the magnesium master alloy and the aluminum are melted; and casting the molten metal to manufacture the aluminum alloy.
