To provide an aluminum alloy piping material excellent in erosion and corrosion resistances and general corrosion resistance and suitably used as a component member of an aluminum heat exchanger, such as radiator and heater core, and particularly as a tube material.
This material is a piping material of a two-layer structure formed by extrusion. The inner layer constituting the internal surface of the piping material is composed of an Al-Mn alloy. The outer layer constituting the external surface of the piping material is composed of an aluminum alloy having a composition of 3.0-12.0% Si and the balance Al with impurities, an aluminum alloy having a composition consisting of 3.0-12.0% Si, 1-10% Zn, and the balance Al with impurities, or an aluminum alloy having a composition further containing 0.15-1.2% Fe besides the above components. The inner layer can further contain either or both of In and Sn in small quantities. This piping material can be provided with a three-layer structure obtained by further cladding the outer side of the outer layer with a sacrificial anode material layer of aluminum alloy.
