To configure a metal electrode from an inexpensive aluminum alloy rich in corrosion resistance, particularly in a dye-sensitized solar cell in which a photoelectric conversion layer is formed on a metal electrode to configure a negative electrode structure, and the negative electrode structure faces a transparent substrate and a positive electrode including a transparent electrode via an iodine-containing electrolyte solution.
An aluminum alloy plate for a dye-sensitized solar cell electrode material, excellent in corrosion resistance, comprises 0.05-0.2 mass% (hereinafter referred to as %) of Zn, 0.05-0.1% of Ni and the balance of Al and inevitable impurities, and has a difference (ΔE=EPIT-ECORR) between a pitting potential (EPIT) and a self potential (ECORR) of 700 mV or higher.
