Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pouring method which can continuously perform pouring while transmitting ultrasonic vibration to molten metal.SOLUTION: A pouring method includes a pouring process (S1), a first ultrasonic excitation process (S2), and a second ultrasonic excitation process (S3). In the pouring process (S1), an ultrasonic horn (1) is arranged in the vicinity of a pouring port (3) so as to progress along a direction (D1) in which molten metal (M1) flows, and the molten metal (M1) is poured at a temperature higher than a liquid phase line temperature by 5 to 15°C. In the first ultrasonic excitation process (S2), ultrasonic vibration is imparted to a part of the molten metal (M1) from the ultrasonic horn (1). In the second ultrasonic excitation process (S3), the generation of the ultrasonic vibration from the ultrasonic horn (1) is stopped after the pouring process (S1), the ultrasonic horn (1) is removed from the pouring port (3), and the ultrasonic vibration is generated from the ultrasonic horn (1).
