Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy shape for a rolling stock, capable of effectively improving a sound insulation characteristic through the change of only the sectional form thereof, without any weight or cost increase.
SOLUTION: Regarding an aluminum alloy shape for application to a rolling stock, obtained via the extrusion of an aluminum alloy and formed to have the face plate parts 2 and 4 of flat plate type and a rib part 6 standing as integral part thereof for extension in a direction separating from the surface of one of the face plate parts 2 and 4, the thickness of the face plate parts 2 and 4, and/or the rib part 6 is changed at a grooved recess part or a projection part. In addition, the effective thickness of a foot part 8 for the connection of the rib part 6 is increased for the face plate parts 2 and 4.
