Abstract:
To provide a 7000 system aluminum alloy sheet for automotive members having both of strength and stress corrosion crack resistance.
A specified aggregate structure formed by controlling a cold rolling rate and a solution heat treatment condition of an Al-Zn-Mg based aluminum alloy sheet manufactured by a conventional method and having a specified composition can have a small average crystal grain size, a total area ratio equal to or more than a certain value in a specified direction, such as a Brass direction, S direction and Cu direction, and also has high intensity, high ductility and SCC resistance required in an automotive member, such as an automotive structural member.
