Abstract:
To provide a 7000 system aluminum alloy sheet for automotive members having both of strength and stress corrosion crack resistance.
A structure formed by controlling a cold rolling rate and a solution heat treatment condition of an Al-Zn-Mg based aluminum alloy sheet manufactured by a conventional method and having a specified composition can have a small average crystal grain size, 15% or more of an average rate of a small tilt angle grain boundary having a tilt angle of 5-15° and 15-50% of an average rate of a large tilt grain boundary having a tilt angle of more than 15°, and also have high intensity, high ductility and SCC resistance required in an automotive member, such as an automotive structural member.
