Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve press formability and corrosion resistance by forming an Al-Cr alloy plating layer having a regulated Cr content on the surface of an Al alloy sheet and specifying the coating weight of the Al-Cr alloy plating layer.
CONSTITUTION: An Al-Cr alloy plating layer having 1-70wt.% Cr content is formed on at least one side of an Al alloy sheet by 1-50g/m2 coating weight to obtain the title Al alloy sheet. The slidability of the Al alloy sheet is enhanced and the press formability is improved without deteriorating the corrosion resistance.
