Title:
ALUMINUM ALLOY SUBSTRATE FOR PLANOGRAPHIC PRINTING PLATE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0892679
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the performance of a printing plate by allowing particles each having a specified particle diameter to account for a specified percentage of the amt. of all intermetallic compds. contained in an Al alloy plate having a specified compsn.

CONSTITUTION: The compsn. of an Al alloy plate is composed of >0 to 0.20wt.% Fe, ≤0.13wt.% Si, ≥99.7wt.% Al and the balance inevitable impurities and particles each having <0.1μm particle diameter are allowed to account for ≥0.5wt.% of the amt. of all intermetallic compds. contained in the Al alloy plate. The objective Al alloy substrate is formed using the resultant Al alloy plate. When the Al alloy plate contains <0.05wt.% Ti and <0.05wt.% Cu, the cost of materials can be reduced and the Al alloy substrate is excellent in suitability to surface roughening by electrolysis.
