Abstract:
To provide an aluminum casting device capable of further reducing inclusions in an aluminum ingot.SOLUTION: An aluminum casting device comprises: a trough 1 fed with an aluminum molten metal M1 from a heat insulation furnace 4; a spout 2 fitted to the trough at intervals in a lengthwise direction thereof and distributing the aluminum molten metal; and a mold 3 fed with the aluminum molten metal through the spout and casting an aluminum ingot. In the trough, both side face parts in a wide direction are provided to a straight shape in the upper and lower directions, and, provided that the width of the trough is defined as W(cm), the horizontal distance from the connection position of a feed port 14 of the trough to be connected to a heat insulation furnace to the fitting position of the first spout fitted adjacently to the connection position is defied as L(cm), and the flow rate of the aluminum molten metal flowing inside the trough is defined as Q(cm/s), the relational equation among the width W, the distance L and the flow rate Q, {(L W/Q} exceeds 1.33.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
