Abstract:
To enhance corrosion resistance of an aluminum-containing metal material.SOLUTION: An aluminum-containing metal material 10 includes a substrate 12, a first protective film 14, and a second protective film 16 that contains an additive 20. The additive 20 has a main body containing a film-forming material and a film covering the periphery of the main body. The film contains a material that is not damaged under a non-alkaline environment but damaged under an alkaline environment. The film of the additive 20 in the second protective film 16 is thus damaged under the alkaline environment. A passive film is formed on an exposed part 123 by the film-forming material. The corrosion resistance of the aluminum-containing metal material 10 is thus enhanced under the alkaline environment, compared with the case that the additive 20 is not added to the second protective film 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
