To provide an aluminum fin material for a heat exchanger capable of performing press work while inhibiting adhesion of aluminum to a tool and accumulation of coating film with superior lubricating property without supplying a press lubricant or reducing its supply amount in comparison with an usual case, and keeping hydrophilic property after the press work.
A first coating film 3 includes a wax in a base resin composed of one or more of urethane resin, epoxy resin, polyester resin and phenol resin, and has a film thickness of 0.2-20 μm. A content of the wax in the first coating film 3 is 0.1-10 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt.of the base resin. The wax is composed of one or more of carnauba, polyethylene, nylon, polyester, fluorine-based resin, propylene, amino resin and silicon resin. A second coating film 4 includes a hydrophilic lubricant composed of water-soluble polyether having molecular weight of 1,000-400,000 in a hydrophilic resin, and has a film thickness of 0.2-5 μm.
